Welcome to the HCA DIEJ Blog!- Background and Parent Group

Welcome to the HCA DIEJ Blog!

This Blog is the brainchild of the Parent Guardian DIEJ Committee. Members suggested a blog focused strictly on DIEJ events/ lessons/ groups in the school, so that parents could get a peek into that work in their child(ren)'s classes, the community as a whole, as well as the long term trajectory of the work. You can expect to see a monthly post covering the whole school N2-8.

In the two previous posts you will find the DIEJ groups at HCA as well as the schedule for DIEJ meetings happening throughout the year.

Shameless Plug: The Parent/Guardian DIEJ Committee holds open meetings monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. All are welcome. Currently these meetings are held via Zoom (meeting linked below). However, we have decided to meet in person in room 207 @ HCA for the January meeting. February and beyond will be back to Zoom, unless we decide to meet in person for another one.

Meetings usually last an hour and are come as you are. People show up for one meeting, every meeting, and everywhere in between. Some people come late, some leave early. The meeting usually ends with someone noting that it is bedtime and he/she needs to get the kids to bed. We are a causal group doing serious work casually. Come check our meetings out if you get a chance; we could love to hear from you.

Email any questions or feed back to jmyers@holychildacademy.com.
